Anna of the North
Trading her native Norway for Australia on a whim, she gained the nickname “Anna Of The North,” underwent a creative awakening, and returned home with a renewed sense of purpose. Since 2014, she’s quietly emerged as an alternative pop phenomenon. Shecaptivated listeners with a pair of acclaimed albums—Lovers [2017] and Dream Girl [2019]. The latter’s title track “Dream Girl” soundtracked Apple’s Global iPad Pro campaign “Float,” earned a Norwegian Grammy, and landed a sync in the third installment of NETFLIX’s blockbuster To All The Boysseries, To All The Boys...Always & Forever, enshrining her as the only artist to contributemusic to all three films. Tyler, The Creator recruited her to feature on the platinum-certified “Boredom” and lend background vocalsto “911 / Mr. Lonely” [feat. Frank Ocean & Steve Lacy] from his GRAMMY®Award-nominated FlowerBoy. Dua Lipa invited her tojoin forces for the “IDGAF (Anna of the North Remix),” and G-Eazy enlisted her for “Pick Me Up” from his platinum-certified epicTheBeautiful & The Damned. Beyond praise from Variety, The FADER, Billboard, NME, and UPROXX, her voice powered songs from HULU’s Rosaline Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Drum & Lace and Ian Hultquist. Now, she opens up more than ever on her 2022 third full-length offering, Crazy Life [Elektra Records]

Emily Afton
Emily Afton is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and performer with roots across California, in Oakland, San Diego, and LA. Her nostalgia-infused alt-pop has been described by NPR as “...wonderful, wonderful electro-pop that’s weary of life, but positive," and draws influence from the likes of Fiona Apple, and Crystal Castle. In 2017 Afton was invited to perform her feminist protest song, ‘The Veil' at the San Francisco Women's March, garnering the admiration of many in the 40,000-person audience. When the song was officially released on her 2020 EP, Consideration, the song and EP’s popularity landed Emily Afton’s music on TV shows such as The CW’s Batwoman, and caught the attention of Third Eye Blind frontman, Stephan Jenkins who asked her to perform as direct support on their national tour. Emily Afton’s most widely recognized song, ‘Lost’ (from her debut album Archetype), was featured on the series Riverdale, which brought Afton’s music to the international stage for the first time.

Emily Afton is currently working on her new album which is slated for a Summer 2023 release alongside a video collaboration with San Diego women-led production company, NO STORAGE PRODUCTIONS. The album and collaboration will highlight stories of identity, love, and self-acceptance through the female gaze.

Stay tuned for new music from Emily Afton, this Spring and Summer
