LULLANAS
LULLANAS create songs wrapped in Americana warmth, folk eloquence, country storytelling, and unassuming pop ambition. Their acclaimed debut EP, Before Everything Got Real [lnk.to], thrives on an inimitable and familial balance. Music manifested itself in LULLANAS’ lives at a young age. Growing up in Pennsylvania, they recall how important music was on their many family road trips, with their dad listening to The Beatles, The Eagles and Shania Twain, while their mom favored Johnny Cash and Eric Clapton. During a summer visit to their grandmother in India, the duo ended up in an old cotton mill converted into a studio where they impromptu tracked their song “Don’t Say.” Without any expectations, they uploaded the track, which has 3.6 million streams on Spotify alone. Between gigs alongside Maggie Rose, Darlingside, and Wild Rivers, they toured with Peter Bradly Adams. During the summer of 2019, the duo recorded their debut EP Before Everything Got Real with producer Peter Katis [The National], and in 2020, they recorded a version of The Paper Kites' “Bloom,” which showcased their unique artistry and their ability to craft enchanting and emotionally resonant music. Their most recent release, “Cheap Silver Lining,” is a captivating collaboration with UK singer/songwriter Luke Sital-Singh, blending their unique musical styles with introspective lyrics and haunting melodies that create a melancholic yet hopeful atmosphere. LULLANAS are currently in the studio co-producing and recording their full-length debut album, due out later this year.
